Crossfire Ministries History:
Randy Shepherd and Jamie Johnson both were raised in Asheville, NC. They played against each other in junior high, Randy at South French Broad and Jamie at Enka Middle. In high school, Randy at Asheville High School and Jamie at Enka High School; and in college Randy at the University of North Carolina at Asheville and Jamie at Montreat College and Gardner-Webb University. After college Randy was called to full-time ministry with Spirit Express an international basketball ministry based in Memphis, TN while Jamie entered the business world in Asheville, NC. Randy spent four years with Spirit Express '88-'92 and Jamie joined Randy the last 6 months of 1992 as a staff member with Spirit Express.
In December of 1992 the Lord gave Randy and Jamie the Vision of Crossfire Ministries which began in January of 1993, based in Asheville, NC. The Lord has graciously blessed them with the following preaching, witnessing, and ministry opportunities:
