Inner City Outreach
Crossfire, Jamie and Randy, have a burden for the inner-cities of America. Many young people in the inner-cities do not have any positive role models.
Unfortunately, many of them have no fathers or male role models in the home. Because of these situations, young people are confronted with drugs, alcohol, gangs, and sex at a younger age. Crossfire seeks to take the gospel into these inner-cities as the Lord opens the door.
Many young people will listen to an athlete before they will a parent, teacher, pastor, or relative. God uses Crossfire’s Christian Athletes to direct these young people toward the Lord Jesus Christ, who is their only hope.
Crossfire has a need for an inner-city staff member for the inner-city of Asheville, NC. This male role model would not compete with the inner-city churches, but come along beside them to assist, encourage, and share the good news of Jesus Christ through basketball. The immediate need is a budget and salary of $60,000.00 to get this much needed ministry started.
