Every year in April after the NCAA Division 1 March Madness is completed, Crossfire competes against the seniors from Duke University, University of North Carolina, NC State University, and Wake Forest University in several games around Western North Carolina, particularly, Hickory, NC and Asheville, NC.
The Crossfire / ACC All Star Classic began in 1994 when Duke All-American, Grant Hill, was a senior.
Each year since then, Crossfire has competed against the ACC seniors. Past players from the ACC have included Wake Forest, All American and current San Antonio Spurs 2002 & 2003 NBA MVP Tim Duncan, North Carolina's and current Boston Celtic player Shammond Williams, Duke University and current Cleveland Cavaliers guard Trajon Langdon, North Carolina stand-out and current Washington Wizard's center Brandon Haywood, Wake Forest All-American and Dallas Maverick Josh Howard, Duke All-American Chris Duhon and Duke's J.J. Redick who was the "2006 National Player of the Year".
In 16-games, Crossfire has won 7 games, and the ACC has won 9 games. But, more importantly thousands of young people and adults have made decisions for the Lord Jesus Christ - Glory to the Lord!
2008 ACC ALL STAR GAME!

Saturday April 28, 2008 at 6:00 PM. Location will be the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, NC. The 2007 game was a great success therefore you will want to get tickets in advance for this year's game. Be sure and put this on your calendar and make plans to bring your family and friends.
There will be a 5:15 PM pregame concert by Jim Coddington and Joshua Grooms. Doors will open at 5:00 PM.
First 150 through the doors will receive a free Crossfire T-shirt.
Ticket cost for the game will be two prices, the floor area and the balcony area. Floor seats are $15.00 and the balcony are $10.00. Ticket Master is handling all ticket sales, there will be "NO" tickets sold at any area bookstores or sports stores. We are able to provide group rates this year for twenty people or better. Ask the Civic Center about those rates or call Crossfire at 828-255-9111.
Tickets are on sale now. Please call Ticket Master at 828.251.5505. You may ask for certain seats that are available when calling, just make clear your seating preference. Although I want to make a strong suggestion .. you are much wiser to go to the Asheville Box office to buy tickets since it is so much cheaper. When you purchase through Ticket Master regardless of the event that is held in the USA there is a processing fee that runs anywhere from $5.25 to $7.00 per ticket. We have no control over this charge therefore I encourage you to make the trip to the box office if at all possible. Or feel free to call Crossfire for further advice at 828-255-9111.
Players from UNC, Duke, N.C. State, Clemson and Tennessee have been invited to participate in the game. This year we have invited these players to join us for some fun: Quentin Thomas of Carolina, Demarcus Nelson of Duke, Gavin Grant of NC State, James Mays, Cliff Hammonds and Sam Perry of Clemson and Chris Loftin of Tennessee.
Please call for player confirmation with the understanding that we cannot promise that all invited will be able to appear. We want to make clear that each year's event does not guarantee player participation due to family obligations, injuries, National Awards Presentations for TV, school requirements due to academic performance and other hindrances. We hope that each invited will appear but we would rather not mislead anyone regarding player commitments.
